LI-CGTS TS-5662 Where we work: Our AWS partnered analytics organization owns the worlds biggest financial data store and runs continuous analytics on global stock data movement. Our mission is to ensure investor protection and market integrity. We are constantly working on how to hackbreak market systems with the goal of being ahead of potential bad actors in the market. Our environment Leading Innovator in Machine LearningAI, Big Data, AWS, trading algorithms We work on the worlds largest financial store (21 petabytes when complete). There is no other comparable opportunity in the market. We look at 130 billion financial transactions every day. Thats more than Twitter, Visa, PayPal and Facebook combined Google, Amazon, Facebook other tech icons follow the client as a model and recruiting base Amazon Web Services- select Partner: We use cloud computing to automate and store massive amounts of data Role: Python Developer Support Engineering Location: Rockville, MD (Hybrid, 3 daysweek to office) Duration: 12 Months Contract (initial term, renewable based on project needs) Must haves: Python Development (about 5 years) PostGres and relational DB (doesnt need DB design or modeling) AWS Testing (some experiencefamiliarity with Python testing ecosystem, Pytest, etc.) Soft skills are: Strong communication and empathy (because facing a lot of users including non-technical) Strong problem solving Curiosity, detective personality Humility (no egos) Nice to haves: Bedrock is a great to have GenAI knowledge VueJS but not hung up over this CICD Financial services, regulatory tech, gvt sectors Description: This person will interface between the platform we are building and our user base to help implement testing, work end-to-end as a support engineer, talk to users and provide second-level support, look through things (Splunk logs, infrastructure state, CloudWatch, code, etc.) to diagnose errors, create and work on bug tickets (tactical development), and work on end-to-end resolution Behind the scenes, they will also work on test automation. The majority of the time will be spent in strategic, proactive support engineering work, while 13 to ΒΌ of the time will be spent reactively addressing user issues.
