Job Description
Software Engineer - Credit Card Team As a Software Engineer on our Credit Card team at OnePay, youll play a key role in designing and delivering the systems that power card issuance, payments, and servicing. Youll work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to build scalable, high-quality applications that directly improve the financial lives of our customers. You will: Develop and implement new features, APIs, and products for OnePays credit card platform Collaborate with engineers across the organization to ship high-quality code with speed and reliability Architect and design scalable, secure systems that support millions of customer transactions Build and maintain clear technical documentation to support our growing, distributed team Solve complex technical challenges related to payments, money movement, and sensitive financial data at scale You Bring: 4 years of professional experience in backend development, with a focus on product-facing financial systems preferred Strong track record of delivering impactful features and products in fintech, payments, or credit Expertise in building, maintaining, and optimizing APIs and data flows for transactional systems Familiarity with secure coding practices, compliance requirements, or PCI-related systems is a plus Drive and proactivity everyone here is a builder and executor Tools We Use: We use the fp-ts library for functional programming with NodeTypeScript running on top of Kubernetes and AWS. We believe great engineers can learn any stack, so you do not need experience with these specific tools, but youll ramp up more quickly if you are familiar with functional programming concepts.
